For fresh venison we process deer on the first Friday of every month. They will then be butchered on the following Wednesday and sent straight to you arriving on Thursday or Friday.

The deer are lovingly cared for by our deer manager, most of the year they are outside on a mostly grass based diet with some supplements. During the winter they come into the sheds and are fed on a ration consisting mostly of silage with some other supplements.

All our deer are born, raised and processed on farm.

We avoid using antibiotics where possible. Obviously when an animal requires medicine we treat accordingly, but most of our deer go their entire lives without the need for any antibiotics.

If you are interested in purchasing Venison during the rest of the month please get in touch and we will have a look in the freezer to see what stock is available.

All our orders are delivered fresh unless otherwise specified. You are welcome to preserve the life of our venison by freezing.

In order to preserve the meat for as long as possible we vacupack it and post in insulated packaging with ice packs.

All of venison will have suggested use by dates on, this is normally a week after being packed.

If you would like to extend the venison's life you can freeze it for up to 6 months.

Please note this service might take longer then normal and we are currently only processing once a month, so leave plenty of time if you are planning for an event.
